This explains what Wise Wolf LLC collects when you use BeatBlo¢, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It sits alongside our Terms.
1What we collect
Account information — your username, display name, email address, profile photo, and anything you choose to add to your profile such as city, country and genres.
Payment information — handled by our payment processor. We do not see or store card numbers. We keep a record of Blocs bought, spent, won and paid out.
Content you upload — beats, posts, replies, photos, cover art and audio.
Usage data — the rooms you join, the battles you enter, the beats you play, votes and scorecards you submit.
Device and connection data — your device type, the country and region your connection comes from, and a browser identifier. We store your IP address as a one-way salted hash, not in the clear.
2How we use it
To run BeatBlo¢ and to process payments, payouts and refunds.
To enforce the eligibility rules for Catalog Battles, including the state restrictions in the Official Rules, which is why we check the region your connection comes from.
To detect fraud and protect the integrity of competition. We compare the hashed IP addresses, browser identifiers and payment methods associated with accounts to spot people competing against themselves, judging their own battles or running duplicate accounts. Where we find a link, it can reduce a battle's ranking weight, void a purchase or lead to suspension. You can ask us to explain a decision like that.
To send you account, battle and transaction notifications.
We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not run tracking or advertising cookies.
3What other people can see
Your profile, username, photo, country, record, rankings and public posts are visible to other users and to visitors who are not signed in.
A judge's scorecard stays private until the battle is decided, then the scores and notes are shown on that battle's scorecard.
Your wallet balance, transactions, payouts, verification details and direct messages are never public.
4Who we share it with
Our payment processor, for buying Blocs and for payouts and identity verification.
LiveKit, which carries the live audio and video in rooms.
Supabase, which hosts our database and handles sign-in.
Vercel, which hosts the app.
Each one receives only what it needs to do its job. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.
5Your rights
California (CCPA/CPRA). You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of. We will not treat you differently for asking.
EU and UK (GDPR). You additionally have the right to object to or restrict processing, to data portability, and to complain to your local supervisory authority. We process your data to perform our contract with you, and on our legitimate interest in keeping competition honest and preventing fraud.
To exercise any of these, email support@beatbloc.com. There is no self-serve delete button yet; we handle requests by hand and aim to respond within 30 days.
6How long we keep it
We keep your account data for as long as your account is open.
When you ask us to delete your account we remove your profile and content. Some records outlive the account because we are required to keep them or need them to defend the integrity of past competition: transaction and payout records, identity-verification records, and the fraud signals in section 2.
Beats that Wise Wolf LLC has purchased stay in the catalog permanently — that is what the licence in the Terms buys — along with the record of the battle that produced them.
7Cookies
We use cookies to keep you signed in and to hold your session. No tracking or advertising cookies.
8Children
BeatBlo¢ is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from people under that age. If you believe a minor has an account, email support@beatbloc.com.
9Security
Connections are encrypted, access to your data is restricted by policy at the database level, and private files are not publicly readable. No system is perfectly secure — use a strong password you do not reuse.
10Changes
We may update this policy. If a change is material we will tell you by email or in the app.
